Not to be forgotten; the catastrophic wildfires that plagued Australia early in 2020. The site of burned koalas with their singed ears, and tiny burned bodies begging for water broke my spirit. As a child in Australia the unique beauty of Australia imprinted itself on my heart. This work "Extinction 2020" was my way to pray for the innocent victims of developer greed that contributes to so much destruction by eroding away the wild areas and nature's own defenses for mitigating these disasters.
